About Us

		REDEFAS Foundation is a Non-Profit, Washington Corporation. REDEFAS will make distributions to organizations that specialize in, or have interest in feeding programs for people existing in impoverished areas around the world.

Funds will be transferred from the real estate transaction specified herein to REDEFAS, and then REDEFAS will make a distribution of funds received, after administration and other board-approved expenses, to qualifying charities on a semi-annual or quarterly basis. 		REDEFAS began as an idea to help a local charity ship a single container of food to Uganda. At a Network Group Meeting in Downtown Seattle, Mike Davidson and Ken VanderHeyden brainstormed options to help.Over the following weeks they became convinced that the American Real Estate Industry could positively impact the Big Picture of world hunger if only given an opportunity.

Ken VanderHeyden is a Co-Founder and Director of REDEFAS Foundation. He has 13 years of experience in the areas of sales, marketing, and management. He is currently employed with NW Mortgage Source as a Loan Originator in the mortgage business. He enjoys music as a bass player and has had experienced many inspiring feelings through listening, writing, and playing music. He enjoys fitness activities to keep him in good health through strictly scheduled work outs, running, hiking, and snowboarding. He is a dreamer and an achiever. Mr. VanderHeyden is excited and committed to making a difference in the lives of others through REDEFAS.

Mike Davidson is the Chairman of the Board for the REDEFAS Foundation. He has extensive experience as a Salesman, Organizer, Trainer, Recruiter and Manager. He served 5 years with the Navy SeaBees, continued in the construction industry for a time before breaking into the world of sales and small business. He has started or been involved in starting numerous companies, including a mortgage company. Mike is the founder of BizBuilder Network Groups. He is active in his church, Keyport Bible, and he enjoys sailing the Puget Sound with his family, wife Melissa, boys Michael and Matt, 15 and 12 and daughter Melody, 19, when she is home from UW.
